Well there is a lot of hype right now for a sportsman class with the 2.2 crawlers. And yes i know the 1.9s didnt really take off niether did the supers. But i think enough of us have extra parts laying around to throw together a cheap digless rig to do some extra comping.

Because i know when i go to a comp the fact of only getting 2 runs is kind of a downer. So we could have this or ever just start out with this as an extra thing to do in between runs so we dont have to worry about breaking the comp rig before a run lol. Maybe score or just have this to screw around with a little. I know i have my wk axles layin around that ive been waiting to do something with and this seems like it may be the thing for it.

Im kind of thinking a more relaxed class maybe run like a 27t motor get some wheel speed jump some stuff while doin the crawlin thing. Make it fun and exciting.

Yeah I have to give the class some thought. Some clubs use it as a beginner class. Which none of us would fit in to. If they finish in the top of the sportsman class they have to move up. I would like to run more for sure.

Yea i like something like that. A class for cheep starter rings.

i have that tlt based rig that was donated to glenwood back in the day. got it running the other day. nothing fancy but it would be a good "loaner" for the club.
